AceQA is a job portal
focused on the software testing market. It is an endeavor

it cost to register?
No, we do not charge anything
for registering.
Why
am I being asked for email address twice?
The email address that
you provide in account information will be used by us
to contact you regarding account related issues (for
e.g. in case you forget your password).
The contact email address
that you provide in client information will be the address
used in the mails that you send to prospective job seekers
form within the portal.
Will
I be able to view resumes or post jobs on registering?
Once you register you
will be able to search and view job seeker details in
brief. However, for detailed view or posting jobs, you
will need to subscribe for a package.
What

What
are the different kinds of job postings? How are they
different?
We have Classified and
HOT Job postings. A classified posting lets you advertise
the openings at your company. On purchasing HOT jobs
package, your company gets featured on the home page.
You can also attach your company logo with the jobs
advertised and add unlimited text to the job description.
What
is the validity period for a single posting? Can I extend
it?
Each posting has a validity
period of one month with the option to extend it further.
Why
should I subscribe to the database when I have already
posted the job on AceQA?
It gives you more options
in terms of access to a variety of candidates as you
can do an extensive search as per your requirement.
Further, with database
access you don’t need to wait for the right applicants.
You can search and contact them instantly.
How
can I reach the candidates?
Use the Email button on
job seeker’s profile details to contact the candidates.
What
are the different modes of payment?
Currently we receive payments
through cheques/demand drafts. We will soon be offering
more flexible ways of making payment.
What
is the procedure for making the payment? When does my
subscription get activated?
Please make your Cheque/DD
in favour of QA INFOTECH PVT. LTD. INDIAN OPERATION
and send it to QA InfoTech Pvt. Ltd., B-8, Sector 59,
Noida – 201301. Your subscription will get activated
as soon as the payment is received.
How
can I make sure that my payment has reached the right
hands?
You will receive a confirmation
email from us. You also have the option of writing to
accounts@aceqa.com to confirm your payment.
What
should I put in keywords while searching? Can you give
me some tips on searching?
Keywords determine the
type of resumes you get to see. The keywords that you
provide will be matched with the following fields –
resume title, skills, designation, roles, industry,
current company, previous companies and institutes attended.
In case you type two words
with ‘space’ it will search for a resume
with both words in the same profile, not necessarily
in the same order. In case you want to search for a
specific phrase, put it in quotes.
For e.g. QTP BITS will
look for someone who has worked with QTP and has graduated
from BITS. “QA InfoTech” will look for someone
who is or has been associated with QA InfoTech.
What
is Role search?
In Role search you can
search on the role that the job seeker is performing/has
performed in his/her company or the role that he is
looking for.
Where
can I find uploaded resume of the candidate?
You can click on the ‘view
resume’ link in the prospective candidate’s
profile.
What
is job reference id for?
It is meant for identifying
and organizing applications as per job postings.
What
should be entered in keywords while posting a job?
Keywords should comprise
of words which a prospective employee would fill in
to search for a job. For e.g. if you need a performance
tester, you can mention ‘tester’ or ‘performance’
etc.
For
how long does my posting remain active on AceQA? What
is meant by “renew” a posting?
The posting remains active
for one month. Renewing a posting means extending the
expiry date to another month.
Where
can I see the balance of the job postings left in my
account?
You can see the balance
in My Account >> Access and Usage >> Job
Posting Report section.
Can
a job posting be edited?
Yes, few fields of the
job posting can be edited.
Is
it possible to use HTML in my job postings?
Yes, you can use HTML
in Job Details and Job Responsibilities. You can also
edit the underlying HTML for Profile Details by clicking
on the HTML button in the Profile Details editor.
Can
I restrict unqualified candidates from applying for
a job? On which fields can I set the filters?
Yes, you can use filters
to restrict unqualified candidates. The filters can
be set on the experience, qualification, preferred location,
skills set, and role.
How
do I add video profile of my company?
For this firstly you would
need to upload your video in YouTube. Then, you can
embed your video in your job posting by pasting the
embed code in Job Details or Job Responsibilities. To

Where
do I receive the applications from job seekers?
You will receive the applications
in your My Account section under Applications Received.
I
do not see a resume/cover letter attached in certain
applications. What does this mean?
It means that the applicant
has not attached any resume/ cover letter to his application.
Can
I download resumes of received applications?
Yes. Click on the specific
posting in Applications Received. Now select the resumes
you want to download and click on Download Resumes.
Please note that only the profiles having attached resumes
will be downloaded.
What
do I do once the advertised position is filled?
You can delete the job
posting to avoid your Applications Received folder from
getting cluttered with unwanted resumes.
How
does a template help?
It helps save time as
you don’t need to create a new email every time
that you want to contact a candidate.
How
many templates can I create?
You can create unlimited
number of templates.
Is
there any limit to the applications I receive?
To give you more options
to choose from, we do not limit the applications that
you receive.
What
is the benefit of applications coming to My Account?
It helps you to shortlist,
manage and contact the candidates in a better manner
apart from saving you from cluttering your Inbox.
Do
all the applications get deleted if I delete the job
posting through which they have come?
Yes, they get deleted
once the job posting is deleted.
Can
I shortlist the candidates from the application folder?
Yes, you can move the
shortlisted applications to a separate folder.
What
all statistics can I see for my account?
You can see various access
and usage, and job posting reports in My Account>>Access
and Usage section.
What
should I do if I forget my password?
Click on ‘forgot
password’ and fill in you account details. We
will send the password to your email id. Remember that
the email address that you provide here should be the
same that you provided as part of Account Information
during registration.
Can
I share my username/password with others?
We strongly recommend
you not to share your user name and password with anyone.
At one time only a single employer can log into AceQA.
However, you can create a sub user account to give access
to others in your company.
What
are sub users?
Sub users are various
email ids and passwords created by you, with varying
accessibility rights, to help you manage your account
through multiple log-ins.
What
are accessibility rights for a subuser?
Accessibility rights are
access to database and posting of jobs. Sub users rights
can be limited to database access, job postings or both.
How
do I advertise through AceQA?
