This is a senior technology management position that requires working collaboratively with the local engineering teams and business units to prioritize the Product Roadmap and deliver quality features to the business.
This position will be responsible for managing a 400+ people development governance organization.
This position will have several Managers as direct reports who will be heading up the best practices and process teams. As part of the development governance organization’s responsibility, the candidate will be responsible for driving the team in implementing industry best practices in the development and QA areas.
Other responsibilities for this organization include partnering with HR to define strategies for hiring the best talent and retention techniques, partnering with local colleges to promote college hire programs, identifying and implementing training programs that would inject
The ideal candidate will have experience in software development including managing remote teams with the proven ability think strategically and execute large scale projects.
The individual should have the ability to recruit and develop high performing technical teams and proven leadership skills in a fastpaced demanding environment.
The candidate must be an effective executive communicator, both written and oral, and have experience managing and influencing matrixed resources gaining alignment with adjacent organizations.
The successful candidate will require effective relationship management with internal and external customers, vendors and teams and demonstrated ability to lead development teams, work crossfunctionally, and build consensus on difficult issues.
